Some of the simplest things are super difficult to 'splain.

('splain is "explain" but typed in a cool way...lol)

For instance...if you were to describe the simple word "BELIEVE" to a kid how would you do it?

It's obviously important...

They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—and your household."
Acts 16:31

Really important, in fact!

But there's also a very specific kind of "believe that we need to have. Consider this verse:

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
James 2:19

Believe is simple...but also complicated.

There is a belief that demons have and a (different kind of) belief that saves us and secures our future in heaven.

How would you explain this to an 8 year-old?
